Rio Iriri August 2007 Second Week
|
| We have recently returned from the Iriri River Lodge in Amazonia. Peter Gibson hosted the first week with Rick Varley, Malcolm Cocliff, Stuart Hooley and Ron Oldroyd. This lot had the most incredible week's fly fishing, with huge numbers of fish caught, of most species and many specimen. Photos on their way. (so I have been promised) |
| My week (11th to 18th August) was also a great success. I was accompanied by Jim Letham, Tony Hooley, Joerg Gruber, Andy Thillainayagam, Stephan Engler and Paul van Pelt who joines us from Bermuda. Peter Gibson stayed on for a second week. The fishing was fantastic, especially for Trairao. Again, lots of fish and lots of species. Fishing report and Pictures to follow soon. |
